Lovely genuine black patent leather handbag by Koret, circa 1960s. Stamped with a faux reptile pattern. There is a gold tone clasp at the top and two chain straps. Inside there is the one big compartment and two smaller and within one of those is a mirror which I did not see until after I photographed this, but it's there. The inside is black satin, but the smaller compartments are lined in gold satin.
Approx 9" wide at its widest and 6.5" tall not including chains.
Excellent vintage condition. There is some mild wear to the accordion pleats at the sides and some of the gold tone has worn from the hardware. The lining has pulled away from the top flap.
